Good process design is essential to the success of every treatment plant.
The importance of a rigourous (data and science based) process design to form the core requirements for the plant design is not always appreciated until you consider why each element is provided. In fact every component from large to small; tank, pipe, pump, roof, aerator, etc, down to each nut, bolt and washer, it’s type, size, model, rating, duty etc., is derived from the process design.
All our process designs are focussed on the intended final outcome; the best plant for the site for which it is intended.
Designing a treatment plant which will be highly constructible, safe, long lasting, as simple as possible to use and maintain, (while providing all appropriate controls and automation), and always compliant with the discharge quality required - is our core skill. The plant will also need to be be low cost in operation, and all depends completely on the quality of the skills used in the process design.
